Really nice tomato based pasta sauce. Added onions and garlic with other vegetables to bulk it out. Made meat balls with spaghetti.

I wanted to add a few more ingredients to my Barilla Basilico sauce as it seemed to mainly contain tomato and basil. Added beef mince, mushrooms and some spinach leaves to add a bit more volume to the sauce.
The sauce was quite thick itself which reminds me of a traditional Italian Pasta sauce.
It had the authentic tomato taste and aroma and you could also smell the basil.
Great taste. We all loved the sauce accompanying Barilla Linguine. Could certainly taste the quality ingredients. Did not taste overly acidic as some tomato based sauces can.
