Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Shiraz Vintage 750ml

Last updated on December 4, 2024 3:55 am

Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel wines are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels for a richer, deeper, and smoother taste. The range is crafted from high quality grapes which are first matured in traditional wine barrels. Then, using Jacob’s Creek’s unique Double Barrel technique, they are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels to build additional layers of complexity.

Great everyday drinking wine, can pick the difference from the way it is made.

we all felt this was an acquired taste. the aroma was lovely with a hint of whiskey, colour was a deep rich red. flavour was dry and not to our preference. we did however make a lovely slow cooked pie with the left overs. this wine gave the pie a very unique and enjoyable flavour.
The bottle was very appealing to the eye with the red cap and picture of barrels.
