I had heard of these in wash scent boosters before but wasn’t so sure on their necessity as wasn’t the laundry detergent and/or fabric softener usually the source of the long lasting aroma of the fabric you wash?
Also what was a little unusual for me was that you are supposed to add these scent boosting beads directly into the washing machine drum with the clothes rather than in your detergent or fabric softener dispenser.
Upon opening the container, I was greeted with a lovely rose aroma. Sure enough when the wash cycle had finished and I hung up the clothes to dry, the room was filled with a pleasant aroma that was different to the usual detergent/fabric softener aroma.
Keen to see how long this fragrance lasts on the clothes and if indeed it will be 12 weeks. I also love the idea that this would be super useful for active wear to mask other odours and make them seem fresher.

The fragrance was amazing and lingered for a long time. I especially enjoyed using it with my towels and bedlinen. I could imagine that if someone had fragrance sensitivity that the scent may have been problematic but for my family, we loved it. Very pricey however when you take in other varities of clothing fragrances on the market and in trying times, I could see this being a big issue, making this a luxury product.
