Spot on. This was delicious! It recommends that you add a kg of chicken which seemed like a lot to me, so I just put in 750g. I also didn’t have any celery so I added capsicum instead. This fed three people very comfortably, with three serves left for lunch (with brown rice as the carb).
The cooking time is pretty spot on, 4 hours on high in the slow cooker left the chicken almost falling apart, but still juicy and big enough to serve.

With little preparation and a set and forget slow cooker, this country chicken casserole was a surprisingly great meal. With or without a side dish it easily makes enough for a family of four or for two and left overs. Highly recommended for anyone with a slow cooker.
