The taste is smooth and cocoa-y. Very pleasant and not too sweet. There’s no bitterness and it’s a perfect consistency – not too soft or hard. I’m very picky about dark chocolate, but I really love this one! Best of all it has no sugar so I’ll definitely be buying more.

This is a great no-sugar alternative for chocolate in baking. Defintely not for eating by itself (as my toddler discovered). I personally prefer using regular chocolate when baking, however for low calorie option this is an amazing alternative.

Considering this is a “natural” alternative with no sugar, and approximately half the calories that are in other chocolate, this product is fantastic. I am an avid calorie counter, and love everything from the Natvia range.

Good melting chocolate for baking

It’s better tasting than a home-brand cooking chocolate, but you aren’t going to want to eat it. I didn’t realise that it was ‘sugar-free’, but that explains the weird taste it left in my mouth after eating. I tried using it as hot chocolate, melting it using boiling water and then milk, but it wasn’t great. In the end the two blocks that I received went into choc-caramel slice – yum!
