Not to expensive, good spice kick

Quick and easy. Versatile. Kids ate it – mild was just the right amount of “mild spicyness”

Not my favourite chilli con carne flavour, but okay for a quick fix. We added some salsa to make it better.

Although this has good flavour and is convenient, the potion size should be reconsidered. Despite being a 2 person household, given standard supermarket mince is portioned in 500gms and we have little use for half a can of beans, our preference would be for a larger package. I imagine larger households would feel this way too. The larger packaging could include different serving suggestions (e.g served on roasted potato or sweet potato, in tacos or burritos etc) so that smaller households could be inspired to use any leftovers in interesting ways.

Good meal base for the cold weather. I prefer the chilli con carne that I make from scratch but this one wins for sheer convenience and time-saving. The right amount of spice for us but it would be easy to add a bit more chilli for extra punch if that’s preferred.

This was a convenient recipe base for con carne. I personally found it much too spicy for a mild though.

This was fine. Good to try something new. Was too spicy for me but not for my husband. We added beans and brown onion with ours. We also added sour cream to it. It could have been good with some garlic in there as the flavouring was a lilttle bland. The main problem was that the sauce only needed half the mince and half the can of beans and so now there is leftovers that we need to work out what to do with

Not too impressed as it had a strange flavour and too spicy with over powering herbs and spices.

Taste was good, I added a can of chili kidney beans for more of a chili kick!

It needs more chilli, garlic and tomato paste to get the flavour up, but if you like very mild food, this would be ok as it is.

Hubby is a chef and was in charge of cooking this. He’s pretty fussy and said it had no flavour so he added tomato sauce and a good hit of garlic! I quite enjoyed it and would have given it 4 stars.

Quick and easy. I put a packet of cooking sauce with some meat and veggies into my Insta pot. It made a great winter warmer of a meal.
