Just bought this torch as I needed a good rechargeable one. Good bright light. It wouldn’t charge at first, but then I took the sticker off the outside and the label on the battery pack. It is now recharging. Great investment.
+ PROS: Bright light. Good size strong casing.
- CONS:Quite heavy. Poor or no instructions on how to use the torch, either on the packaging or as a leaflet inside. No adjustable beam.

Works really well, bright and easily charged, have this one and a really expensive ($150.00 ) usb torch from overseas this works as well and good value for $$ have no problems operating or charging.
+ PROS: Nice and bright. Extra long beam easily charged 5 stars great for the price
- CONS:Only has a narrow beam, would be great to be able to have a wide beam option.

The first torch I bought years ago was SO good, that I purchased another yesterday because I saw it. When I plugged it in to charge I thought it was faulty because the green light was on but would only turn red when I shone the light whilst attached to power- but it wasn’t charged; SO I came here and saw the comment above about removing the tape from the terminal: IF I DID THIS with the first torch I’d forgotten – perhaps the instructions aren’t as good as they used to be. Thankyou Daniel Lewis! Notwithstanding the LACK OF INSTRUCTIONS, I couldn’t bring myself to give fewer than 5 stars! It’s a good torch.
+ PROS: Great bright light, with long battery storage
- CONS:Really poor instructions that do a good torch a disservice.

Same issue of not charging. When I returned it and the second one wouldn’t charge as well I googled it. Found the review that mentioned temoving the tape from the battery. Then I found the little red sticker, nothing on the packet about it. Red sticker on a red torch…..🤪 Actual torch looks like good value.
+ PROS: Bright light. No fancy flashing light etc. Good size. Strong aluminium case.
- CONS:Need to remove tape from battery so it will charge not mentioned on packet.

Brilliant torch, charges well and lasts for a long time. Gives the best light too. Found that when I bought it you have to pull a piece of tape off the terminal to allow it to charge.

Sadly they don’t retain their charge. I brought one, charged it for 2.5 days and it just would not charge at all. The light went on while it was plugged in, and was bright, but when unplugged it went out. I took it back to the shop and got a replacement and the same thing happened. I read a post on Woolies Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/woolworths/posts/thi-i-bought-an-xstreem-rechargeable-torch-on-tuesday-3112-at-hamilton-supermark/3483142151757891/ that indicated other people were having the same problem.
