Bought a 2 pack at Woolies to replace an old backup battery in a smoke detector. Battery was non-functional straight out of the box. Apparently, the internal resistance is so high that it can’t even function in providing enough current to my detector, and it immediately gave a low battery alarm. So, it’s a complete waste of money. Don’t cheap out on these. Now I get to go return them tomorrow to buy batteries that actually work.
