I did not enjoy the flavour of this soup. I found it to be powdery and grainy in texture.

The Heinz Plant Proteinz Creamy Coconut, Pumpkin & Chickpea Soup is quite different to the soups I normally purchase. I usually buy soups that are in tins or tubs and have never bought one in a sachet.
The flavour was nice enough although it smelt a little like baby food. I wasn’t able to taste the coconut flavour though, even though the name of it is ‘creamy coconut’

I didn’t really like this at all. Even though it was a healthy option, I used buttered bread to give it some flavour. Just found it needed more flavour and less spice. Sorry it’s a no from me on this one

Did not enjoy the flavour of this. As I poured this out into a bowl, it really reminds me of baby food.

I had this for lunch, great for a cold rainy day.
I heated it in the microwave, smells like baby food, which I don’t mind. Tastes abit like Thai spices and quite flavoursome.

I really liked the flavour though I couldn’t taste the coconut. The firm chickpeas were a little strange at first but weren’t awful. Overall, I enjoyed it.

For a soup that claims Coconut as the main ingredient on the pack I really couldn’t taste any coconut flavour at all. When checking the ingredient list I discovered it was only 5% coconut cream. Otherwise, the pumpkin and chickpea flavour was excellent. Good for a hot lunch on a cold winter’s day. Dressed up the soup with a dollop of lite sour cream and dried mixed herbs sprinkled on top. Served with a bread roll on the side.

It was nice. Convenient, but I didn’t feel healthy eating this as I would a freshly made pumpkin soup.
Kathryn –
not too bad, convenient

The texture was a bit unusual and not that pleasant. The flavour was a bit spicy and was just okay. It was a good serving size for one.

Im all for trying vegetarian options but this was not enjoyable. It smelt like baby food, which is normal for prepackaged soups like these. But continued on to wanting to try.
I heated in the microwave – make sure you have a microwave cover cause it does splatter and explodes by 50seconds. Stirred and returned to microwave.
First initial taste was of how it smelt. It was a little bland as it was missing something. Then the hont of red chillies in it started to slightly burn and then left with a garlic taste. I can eat this but the red chillies in it may be bit too much if little ones want to try. I had to add sea salt to break up the flavour. Couldn’t really taste the pumpkin or coconut in it. All I’m tasting is garlic.
Overall, it is a good soup but its not for me.
