Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet-Sauvignon 750ml

Last updated on November 23, 2024 12:23 am

Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel wines are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels for a richer, deeper, and smoother taste. The range is crafted from high quality grapes which are first matured in traditional wine barrels. Then, using Jacob’s Creek’s unique Double Barrel technique, they are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels to build additional layers of complexity.

Very strong taste on the first mouthful. The next day the bottle was under pressure and tasted like vinegar – Will not purchase theis

Apparently it tasted OK, couldn’t try it as it is made with milk and egg products.

Thoroughly enjoyed this red. We regularly purchase Jacob’s Creek white wine – this is something I will buy in the immediate future.

A wine with lots of depth and complex yet smooth flavours. Enjoyed with with dinner and also unwinding after work, went down a treat and will continue to buy.

Good wine, just to young to drink. Needs to be cellared for three to five years before drinking
