Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel Cabernet-Sauvignon 750ml

Last updated on April 4, 2024 7:24 am

Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel wines are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels for a richer, deeper, and smoother taste. The range is crafted from high quality grapes which are first matured in traditional wine barrels. Then, using Jacob’s Creek’s unique Double Barrel technique, they are finished in aged whisk(e)y barrels to build additional layers of complexity.

It’s a good wine – taste premium for what it is. An easy wine to have on a weeknight.

Loved it… my husband took a sip and then took an instant photo to make sure we don’t forget the name when re purchasing. That’s some good wine.

Definitely will buy this again! Smooth great flavours delicious with pasta ragu – just lovely to drink!

+ PROS: Light and beautiful long lasting flavor on the palate - easy drinking and nit as heavy as some Cab Savs!

Was very nice dark red wine with rich, smooth taste. I think this a great staple for many nights and would work well with meat-based dinners.

The whole family liked the wine. For something of this price it was actually quite crisp and would work well with most dinners. Nice dark colour and risk taste. No bitterness.
    Would buy again.

This is one of my favourite bottles of cab sauv to order and always have 1 in the wine cabinet for when the wife and I are in the mood for a glass to relax on.

+ PROS: - Really good tasting and easy to drink
    - CONS: - Pricey compared to other cab sauvs

Honestly so impressed with this wine, when I received it in my black box I thought i’d have to force myslef since I’m so set on my particular red wines. It is so smooth and easy to drink and doesn’t leave a bitter after taste or texture in the mouth. Will purchase in the future

    + PROS: affordable good taste
    - CONS: unaware of it mention of whiskey threw me off at first
