I very rarely use Basmati rice at home, so the pack size is perfect for me – as I would never be able to finish the larger 5-10kg bags. This was easy to make – I love that it had ratios in the instructions as amounts of water varies between rice types so this makes it easier to cook well.
I accompanied this with the Patak’s butter chicken which went really well together!

A tasty easy to prepare rice that goes well with a curry. Unfortunately compared with the brands Australian rice it is expensive.

If u want that great Indian takeaway shop rice, then this is your product. I presoaked the rice for 20 minutes, the rinsed and added it to my rice cooker with a little tumeric and a bay leaf. Gave me that authentic Indian shop texture and taste.
