It’s always a good idea to have a packet of microwave rice handy in the pantry for those occasions when you need rice in a hurry.
We decided to serve this rice and quinoa with a chicken stir fry dish.
This microwave packet was easy to warm up, had an easy tear strip and stood up well in the microwave.
On its own, the rice and quinoa was plain but the quinoa did give it a pleasant flavour.
Added to the stir fry, it complemented it well and added some much needed bulk to the meal.
