We often use two minute noodles in some of our stir fry’s but do not use the accompanying sauce sachet or powdered flavouring sachet.
So for this trial, I figured we better prepare these noodles with flavouring as it has been intended.
Each packet of noodles comes with 4 included sachets containing: the spice mix, sweet soy sauce, seasoning oil and chilli flakes.
Rather than cooking the noodles in the boiling water with the spice mix, it is actually recommended to cook them in plain water, drain the water and then add all the sachets to taste.
My family is not big on spicy foods and chilli so we decided to omit the chilli flakes sachet.
Surprisingly these Mi Goreng noodles were delicious and the spice mix, sweet soy sauce and seasoning oil gave it the perfect flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed these noodles.
We decided to add some chicken, mushrooms and spinach to the rest of the packets and it complemented the dishes quite well.
