My dog took it but really only was chewing on it for about 10 minutes before she went to one of her dental ropes instead. I guess our noses aren’t as strong, but I didn’t get much of a scent from it. Maybe as one of the other comments mentioned giving it a bit more of a alluring scent/flavour would entice the pups to try it more.

My dog is fussy and not interested in any of these types if snacks – we give her fresh chicken necks – thanks for the sample – we did give her one to try but she left it where we put it! 😑

My dog loves these so much, better for me as well because her breath can get pretty stinky.

Princess, our miniature poodle was recently hit by a car. She wasn’t really eating very much at all. Upon giving her the Purina Dentalife treat, she immediately began chewing at it. It took her about a minute to finish it and she looked quite content when done. Will definitely purchase these moving forward. Have tried other dental treats in the past and she really didn’t show much interest other than burying them in the back yard!

My dog loved the chew. She recently had her teeth cleaned at the vet, so I was looking for something to help keep them clean. I’m glad she liked them, so will definitely buy them.

My dog did not like it that much because he is a picky eater. He prefers raw bones and dried dog bones. Maybe if the dentalite sticks were more “meaty” smelling or tasting the dogs may like it more.
