I think it’s a great idea if you want an ‘all-in-one packet’ of ingredients. I’m more inclined to make regular risotto, with the constant stirring… and the wine!

Easy to make. Followed instruction on the pack but final product was a bit watery. Tasted ok. Says four servings on pack but very small servings for my family. I struggle with making risotto from scratch so happy to find a product like this.

Took a lot longer to cook than the 25 minutes on the packaging, so I didn’t save any time. The rice took a long time to soften, I had to keep adding in more hot water to cook. The flavour was nice but it was way too salty. With the cost, time, and effort required, I’d rather buy my own rice to cook from scratch.

Not a fan of dried mushrooms but regardless of that, even if I had tried a different flavour, I felt the added cost of this product for the limited extra convenience of having all the ingredients in one package, probably wasn’t going to convince me to stop making my own risotto using rice, herbs etc from the pantry.

The flavour was great but it took SO LONG to cook. The packaging says 25 minutes but I was standing there stirring and constantly adding more water for an hour. It just wouldn’t soften. My family was getting very hungry and angry waiting for dinner to be ready!
