Hakubaku Organic Somen Noodles 3x90g
Last updated on October 28, 2024 7:19 pm
Somen is the thinnest of all Japanese noodles. They are almost like vermicelli, and are quick to cook. They are made from a hard organic wheat that gives a different texture and bite.
Somen is often served cold in Japan. During the hot summer months it is even served in iced water with a dipping sauce. Somen is also added to stir fries and soups, including the famous Vietnamese noodle soup, pho.

I great, true “foody” lovers version of somen noodles.
This item can be used in many cooking styles (Asian to Italian and beyond),and the noodles keep their texture (soft yet not “overdone””) throughout any cooking process.I used these in a stirfry (delicious and easy),but give it a try in a soup as well (If you like a Laksa, these hit the spot perfectly). These are a must try for your next “takeaway but at home” meal (and the pack…enough for a meal for 6 people).
