Lockdown 5.0 dessert that drove away the blues. Looked more challenging than it was. Enjoyed making it and everyone loved eating it. Delicious. Would make again for guests.

Delicious and not too difficult. Do need to rest dough a couple of times, but quite simple if you time it well. Can also mix dough ahead and leave overnight so then only need to put together, let rise 30 mins and cook away!

This is the danish for you if you love a sweet treat that is so delicious you’ll eat the whole thing in one sitting. But you definitely have to earn the snack as it takes ages to actually make! So much time letting it rest and each step has a lot of detail in it. Could have the steps broken down more. But it all came together well in the end. I probably wouldn’t make it regularly – good for Christmas time or fussy people like myself who don’t like cake be good for my birthday haha!
